To begin, you need to first kick-start a Breathe session on your smartwatch. And once you have recorded the measurement of your body, you can check the data via the Health app on your iPhone. Let me show you how it works:
How to Monitor Heart Rate Variability (HRV) on Apple Watch
Step #1. First off, you need to stay still while taking measurements (just sit down about a minute). Launch Breathe app on your Apple Watch. Step #2. Now, tap on Start. Step #3. Next, follow the Breathe session as usual. Up next, you need to inhale as the animation grows and your device will tap your wrist. Exhale when the animation shrinks and the taps stop. Make sure to breathe until the session is completed and the watch taps you twice and chimes. Note: When you are using the Breathe app, the watchOS will mute some notifications to help you concentrate. Your session will end automatically if you move or answer a call. In this case, you will not get any credit for it. After the Breathe session is completed, you will be able to view your HRV score on your iPhone.
